In our line of work, there’s no room for “good enough.” The same goes for life.
A little over five years ago, my wife took a teaching position in Utah to be closer to our grandkids. I kept our California office running during the week, and consistently every Friday, I’d be on a plane north. No exceptions.
That’s our rule: weekends together are non-negotiable. It’s a standard that keeps priorities straight and life balanced.
At Risk Control Strategies, we hold the same line. When clients trust us to assess reputational risk, uncover hidden issues, find evidence, or verify facts before a critical decision, there’s no shortcut — because in this business, “close enough” can cost millions or lose a case. The standard is absolute: get it right- Every time.
That’s the point: how we do anything is how we do everything.
The discipline to follow through, ask the next question, and double-check the facts — that’s what separates checking boxes from protecting your interests.
Experience has taught me that consistency — in relationships, in process, and in standards — is what builds trust. And trust, once earned, is the foundation for every lasting partnership we have.
