It wasn’t only about getting bigger, but about being more useful. For example, I’ve been involved in computer forensics since 2003, limited to examining hard drive and cell phone analysis. With RCS, we also assess network vulnerabilities, respond to breaches, and help secure our clients’ systems.
The environment has changed. Transactions are faster, digital evidence is everywhere, and small issues often become expensive ones. So the changes in our office have been good. We’re still a boutique firm; just more useful than we were.
And honestly, it’s been a lot more fun!
