AI: the technological priesthood.

Every major technology goes through the same curve: we fear it, we apply it everywhere, and then we have to figure out how to stop it from breaking our business. Remember when people feared the internet? Same curve, different decade.

Lately, AI has been elevated from a tool to a holy entity. It answers a prompt with the unearned confidence of a tech bro at a networking event, and everyone immediately treats it as gospel.

(Reminder: “Hallucinating” is just a fancy term for lying without blinking.)

We all know the fine print. We know it invents facts. And yet, the corporate world still bows down.

The tech isn’t the problem here- it’s the fact that the congregation has stopped asking questions. If a report looks polished and sounds authoritative- robes, rituals and all- we just nod along with a prayer in our heart.

At RCS, we don’t do blind faith.

We close the gap between chatbot fiction and ground truth. When a due diligence report or background summary lands on our desk, we don’t just nod. We verify.

Our hierarchy is simple: HUMINT first, AI amplifies. In that exact order.

(Pro tip: AI is more useful when scrutinizing work and pushing back on assumptions, as opposed to doing the heavy lifting. For now.)

AI-proofing your business doesn’t mean you need to ban the tools. You just need to stop letting a beautifully written answer stand in for a factual one.

The machine can write the sermon. We’re just here to make sure it isn’t lying to the congregants.
